Welcome to Behind the Greenscreen...
...a movie review blog not confounded by the glitz, glamour and special effects of Hollywood. Believing that the creation of film is about the creation of worlds and that suspension of disbelief is more important than the misdirection of spectacle, the reviews on Behind the Greenscreen will praise fine storytelling and film construction and denounce the vapid, overdone world of endless remakes and sequels. Behind the Greenscreen recognizes that its reviews do not exist in a vacuum and that the context of a film may be just as important as the film itself. Thus, the following film reviews will, in many cases, double as social commentary. As Andy Warhol said, "It's the movies that have really been running things in America ever since they were invented. They show you what to do, how to do it, when to do it, how to feel about it, and how to look how you feel about it." However, in the end, movies are really about entertainment and creating something new and Behind the Greenscreen recognizes that too.

I loved the personality of the character she played in Pretty Woman.
this one is hard because Pretty woman is a great movie and a classic she played a great character, But he character in Erin B was amazing and had everyone rooting for her, Yet she was awesome in Stepmom too and showed a different side of herself. Then of course there was Mona Lisa Smile.... She is just to good to pick a favorite
What about My Best Friends Wedding? I thought she was really good in that. Or the Ocean's movies? Or Closer? Or even America's Sweethearts.. the movie was horrible, but she was cute in it. She is just an amazing actress and for some reason I always over look her. It's probably because she's out of the spotlight and not on every magazine cover or gossip website for doing something crazy. Great poll!
I agree Julia Roberts is an incrediable actress and rolemodel. The only time you see her inthe press is when she ispromoting a movieor project. No drunken or stoned photos in the press. When you do see pictures they are with her family. She truly is a hollywood great that has values. Great poll great actress this one was a hit. I wonder which movie did people like her and Richard Gere in better in Runaway Bride or Pretty Woman

But!
One of her best films is Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
